r4g3
I have been a Linux/Windows user for a long time and recently bought a Macbook5,1. I happened to upgrade to Snow Leopard and have been looking for a way to change system wide fonts or atleast make them look better (sharper). I am using an external screen (Samsung 225Bw). I have been searching the net for quite sometime now to only find this Font Rendering solution: defaults -currentHost write -globalDomain AppleFontSmoothing -int 2 Though, it helped a bit, but not quite I have played calibrated my LCD inside out with its native resolution. Can anyone help me with this problem, cuz now even ubuntu seems to be sharper than my osx desktop and I had really high hopes with moving to the mac environment. Any help would really be appreciated Regards Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/201886-dull-fonts-on-snow-leopard/ Share on other sites
