KeFfBoY
So, as the newbie I am here on the forum, I post more questions 1). First of all. Since I dualboot Windows7 and OSX 10.6.2 now I get all my Windows-drives automatically mounted on my desktop after boot in OS X. It is kinda annoying, cause I don't want to have them there. I dont want Windows7 stupid bootpartition staring at me when I look at my beautiful Snow Leopard Desktop. Is there any way to disable that they mount by default? 2). Secondly. For some strange reason my harddrives haven't got the standard icon for harddrives in OSX (which they've had before). Now they have the same icon as USB-drives have except that my internal drives are yellowish. I wonder if there's any way to change their icons? Perhaps there's some cool utility that let me do things like this, among others! Please, if you got any tips, tell me! Thanks in advance, Anton Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/201757-disable-automount-of-drives-and-fixing-broken-icons/ Share on other sites
KeFfBoY
I don't want the drives to be mounted to the system at all. Just hiding them won't do Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/201757-disable-automount-of-drives-and-fixing-broken-icons/#findComment-1356131 Share on other sites
