spudhed Posted December 9, 2009 Share Posted December 9, 2009 ive been trying to install 10.5 on my mates vaio ar130g after various nasty boot issues ive now got it starting up fine with a few small niggles, the main one is that the keyborad doesnt work and is constantly pressing 7 (hence my user, pass and everything else is set as 7777777777....) anyone know a quick fix for this prob, i cant do anything in osx as every window is trying to search for 7777. im sure its something simple im missing but i cant see the wood for the trees so any help would be appreciated Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/201560-odd-keyboard-issue/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
spudhed Posted December 10, 2009 Author Share Posted December 10, 2009 not that anyone is reading this anyway (cant remember the last time i asked for help on a forum and got it, how times have changed) i finally managed to get all issues sorted using iatkos 7 but its not all trouble free, unlike every other install disc i have used iatkos refuses to mount my xp partition so i can dual boot (manual bootloader install fails too of course as that cant mount either) im guessing that the only option is fat32 but ive seen plenty of others using ntfs so there must be a way, shame digging it out is so damn hard Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/201560-odd-keyboard-issue/#findComment-1355347 Share on other sites More sharing options...
