retroz
Dropped frames and stutters, plays fine in preview but on timeline forget it. Its only 1.8 mb quicktime file. Being a Vegas User, I'm not used to seeing this or not being able to see realtime effects. Any ideas? I have it set up correct (watching Lynda Pro videos) and have a scratch disk and 2MB DDR2. Kelvin KC Chan
Dropped frames happen when I used 2.5" external 1394 HD box. The HD is 4200prm. HD's prm over 5400prm---no problem. hemiola
Do remember that importing compressed files into FCP is not ideal. The less compress the file - the less CPU usage - however, more disk IO. ALSO, make sure your timeline settings match the codec/compression of the material in that timeline.
