KeFfBoY Posted December 8, 2009 Share Posted December 8, 2009 Ok, this is strange. For some reason I can't get .dmg files to mount properly and appear on the desktop anymore. When I click the file, it looks like it starts mounting (progressbar etc) but nothing appear on desktop. The funny is that if I go into disk utility I can see the mounted disk, and I can even manage to access it.. By clicking open TWICE... what the.. When I do this, the disk appear on the desktop and opens up. Anyone have a clue what this might be due to, and what I can do to fix it? It's very annoying to have to open up disk utility each time I have to install a program just to be able to access the diskimage. I have already tried to verify and repair disk permissions twice and also rebooted a couple of times.
