MarcParker
I've bought the apple wireless keyboard and having problems getting it paired (well..remembering it has been paired should I say). Initially running on 10.5.7 then tried upgrading to 10.5.8 to see if this cured the problem (no joy!) I've tried using the bluetooth kexts from 10.5.5 and 10.5.6 and still no joy there (or maybe wasnt doing something right?). After a stab in the dark i've upgraded to 10.6.2 retail install on my hackintosh where the problem still persists. It allows me to pair the device fine, but after reboot/power down the machine loses its pairing. Under bluetooth prefs panel the keyboard is listed and even remembers it being configured/favourites both = Yes, but Paired = No. I'm using a nexxus bluemicro pro usb dongle which i bought from play purely as it stated it as being osx compatible and supports A2DP etc. Its a CSR chipset too if that helps anyone? I've had a look around, and tried various attempted fixes but this is now beginning to annoy me Has anyone any ideas of things to try? Its a nightmare having to pair the wireless keyboard on every boot and means having to leave a wired kb in at the same time. failo
I have the exactly same problem! have you solved it? Sometimes I have problem rebooting because of bluetooth! I get strange error like: E:[AppleUSBBluetooth][will shut down][mac…] interrupts one transfer pending (smth like this). Hope you can help me. My bluetooth is CSR 0x0001 and 0x0a12. Strange but the CSRBluetooth kext won't load, instead the original Broadcom loads! Cheers!
