nester Posted December 8, 2009 Share Posted December 8, 2009 I followed the most recent Lifehacker retail install, with some slight differences in hardware. All went well in 10.6.1. Update to 10.6.2 appeared to be going well until the after the post upgrate reboot. After the apple splash screen, the screen goes indefinitley blank. I have the following setup: GA EP45-UD3P (rev 1.6) Q9550 proc PNY 8600GTS Spinpoint F1 1TB SATA 2X2gb Dual Channel RAM SL Retail / Chameleon RC3 Did Apple stop supporting the 8600GTS graphic card after for the 10.6.2 update?
