Hi friends,

I'm trying to install windows vista x64 and Mac OS X Snow leopard dual booting.

I'm doing this the following way:

1st - Create Windows Vista Partition and Data partition for windows

2nd - Install Windows Vista x64 with all my stuff

3rd - Try to install Snow Leopard with the guide from macyourpc

I'm having problems when i'm making snow leopard partition, it asks me to use a GUID partition scheme, why do i have use the GUID partition Scheme? When i used ipc it didn't complained about my partition scheme.

Can you help me make a dual boot system?

My laptop is a dell 1525.

Thanks in advance friends.

Snow leopard (and Leopard retail) needs GUID partitions table.

You can modified OSInstall.mpkg to install Snow on MBR partitions table.
