desirico
Hey There, So I've been doing a bit of reading and just when I think I'm understanding how to go ahead with my hackintosh install I get confused again. Some say I need to make an image off an existing mac, and have it saved onto a usb stick. others say I can just drop in a cd and go ahead and install but I want to know what is the simplest and most noob friendly way to go about this. A few people I talked to said the lifehacker method worked best for them but said I need to find a different "extra folder" since I have different hardware then whats in that guide. This is what I want: Dual boot option for Snow Leopard and Windows 7 I have a brand new 27" i5 Imac so if I need to grab files and what not from there to get my hackintosh going thats fine. Also since I want dual book would it be best to use separate drives for each OS or can I just partition one? I would like to appologize for asking the same questions others have already asked but just seem so lost. If someone knows of a guide already in existence that would would with a Gigabyte P55-ED4P and i5 chip please let me know Cheers, desirico Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/201230-my-first-hackintosh-ga-p55-ud4p-i5-dual-boot/ Share on other sites
