Lord_Jeremy
Have you tried manually loading your power management kext? You can do that by opening terminal and doing sudo kextload DRAG_KEXT_HERE You'll be asked for your password. virgulando
I discovered that the problem is when I upgrade the system to 10.5.8, whether he is using the Combo or Software Update. After this update if I Remove AppleSMBIOS.hext time battery back up and running, but it will take long to start. Any idea? Lord_Jeremy
Heh. I was pretty sure that was a somewhat important kext. Funny that the system still runs without it. I would say go look for a version of SMBIOS that works with 10.5.8. As I remember that's one of the kexts that needs to be updated along with the system. Lord_Jeremy
You looked for a different SMBIOS kext? Ok. Well how about this, take out the kext and reboot. Then post the contents of your kernel.log (accessed through Console) from the latest boot. Look at the timestamps on the entries and post only the relevant lines. Then put the kext back and reboot again. Post the newest lines in kernel.log. I want to compare them to see what's happening different each time.
