andyrb1
I'm trying to put iTAKOS Version 7 onto a 4GB flash drive, but I have no DVD to burn it on to (This time of year, I try to spend the least amount of money possible, and don't want to buy any. I'm sure a lot of you know how this is). This is my first time putting OSX86 on a PC, so my knowledge is limited, but I don't need a total walkthrough. I just want to know if it is possible and what programs I need to make this possible. My PC is an HP Pavilion Slimline s5123w with 3GB RAM, a 320 GB Hard drive, AMD Sempron LE-1250 Processor, and a NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE integrated graphic card. qaisar
you can install using flash disk, use Leopard_hd_install_helper_v0.3 software, it says you can use a usb flash disk , but its a big lie there is fix which is very simple. -format you usb flash disk FAT32 -open up the Leopard_hd_install_helper_v0.3 software select you osx image -before selecting parition for burn, uncheck WRITE which is left to the WRITE button, -select you usb from the list. -then CHECK again the WRITE, - press the Write button, thats all, in the end you have all the check remain.. it will configure you boot loader.. and make usb bootable too Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/201075-insatlling-osx86-on-flash-drive-with-no-dvd/#findComment-1352118 Share on other sites
