MimixXx
I have a similiar problem, I can't boot to W7 after installing iatkos V7 because windows says me that it's broken and it can't boot. I've tried to repair and boot. It worked once. So i have to re-install W7 and delete iatkos v7 until a solution Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/201030-how-to-dual-boot-with-win7-and-iaktos-v7-with-win-7-installed/#findComment-1352539 Share on other sites
bastisk8
Ok, here is the easiest way i know which worked numerous times for me at different installs: Install Windows first, then OSX with Chameleon on another partition. Now you won't be able to boot into windows anyore, but don't panic, it's easy to fix this. You will need the Gparted Live CD or the USB version. Boot it an set the boot flag, which now should be on the osx partition, back to your windows partition. Exit Gparted, insert your Windows Installaton DVD and let windows scan for errors and repair your bootloader. Boot windows once and check if it works properly, which it should. Now boot the Gparted live CD again and set the Boot Flag back to your OSX partition. Exit Gparted and Boot your Harddrive En Viola...Dual Boot should work for both windows and OSX (Leopard as well as Snow Leopard as long as youre using Chameleon 2) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/201030-how-to-dual-boot-with-win7-and-iaktos-v7-with-win-7-installed/#findComment-1353155 Share on other sites

bastisk8
I alsways use the method to restore the snow leopard install disk to an USB-Stick and install myhackinstaller on it. Thats everything you have to do to create an bootable installation medium. Then you can easily install OSX from the USB Stick to another partition.
