tehshiznit Posted December 5, 2009 Share Posted December 5, 2009 I am using iATKOS V7 but I'm trying to install it via a usb flashdrive. But when i open the ISO with winrar i only get 7 boot files. The ISO is 3.671 GB but i only get a total of 120kb when i open the ISO. The files in it are listed below: BOOT. BOOT.CAT BOOT0. BOOT1H. BOOTHELP.TXT CDBOOT. README.TXT Which total in 127kb. The same thing happened with Kalyway and i don't know what to do. How do i install OS X from a flashdrive if there aren't any OS X files? It just gets stuck at a blinking _ after i choose to boot from my cd. How do i format the flashdrive with the image? beermacht Posted December 5, 2009 Share Posted December 5, 2009 oops - i've seen this too late i've had never any problems with transmac - but to be honest - i only did it with the retail of snow leopard did you try to make an image from the other distro ?? or do you have the original iso to format the stick with it ?? Hope it works If you could also help with what will work and what won't, here are my specs: BFG NVIDIA 9800GT 1GB VRAM, factory overclocked. 6GB Kingston Hyper Memory RAM Western Digital 640GB HDD AMD Phenom II X4 945 Quad Core @ 3.0 GHZ ASUS M4A78-E Motherboard EDIT: NVM, I still get the flashing _ and then it will continue to windows.
