Meikj
Hi. Is there any way to disable the stock vanilla Snow Leopard IOATAFamily.kext? I want to put my own in my boot loaders Extra folder but I'm almost positive it's loading the stock drivers instead. This results in kernel panic so it's crucial that it loads mine every time instead of Snow Leopard's. I could delete it, but major updates will bring this file back which would result in me not able to boot into Snow Leopard to delete the file again. Would appreciate some guidance on this subject, thanks. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/201008-ioatafamily-disabler/ Share on other sites
