james2mart Posted June 20, 2006 Author Share Posted June 20, 2006 (edited) whoa!!! I was fooling around with appleHDA and rebooted a few times. I was about ready to go to bed for the night, and reenabled the AppleAzalia kext that i had disabled. rebooted, and BAM, I see a HD Output under system prefs and a volume icon, and my volume knob works! I have NOT rebooted yet, so i did a ioreg and a kextstat to show what was loaded and stuff. They are attached, as well as the version of azalia that was loaded at boot. How do i get sound to come out? any ideas? My Dev. ID is unique and no one else here has it, so i was wondering if someone could look over my ioreg and kextstat and maybe pop open the kext and see if theres any hope for me to get sound working. where to change pinouts in azalia?
