elendel
Hi everyone, I have installed Snow Leopard retail on a notebook (Acer Aspire 5920G, 4 GB Ram). As i saw in different guides and i used the Empire Efi v1.07R2 to start the computer. After that y changed the dvd and used the Snow Leopard to make the installation. Once the installation is completed, i go to "About this mac" window and it says "Memory: 1 GB 667..." If i check all the hardware i can see 2 memory modules with 2 GB (4 GB). I have installed before Kalyway 10.5.2 and iDeneb v1.6 (10.5.8) and in both cases the system recognised 4 GB. Can anybody help me?? Many thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/200856-problems-with-ram-empire-efi-snow-leopard-retail-just-appear-1-gb/ Share on other sites

Royal_Noob3
When you have installed Snow Leopard with the EmpireEFI. Install myhack on your Snow Leopard partition (where you have installed it). Now you can boot from your disk and not from the dvd. When you boot from the dvd, it recognizes only 1 GB . Its normal. When you boot later from the disk (after myhack). You see all your ram.
