I am running 10.6.2 SL on a Gigabyte p35-ds3L MOBO q6600 4gb ram install was a breeze no issues. everything is working fine except sound. I am attempting to use onboard sound which is an ALC888 HDA I have tried modified AppleHDA.kext, ALCinject.kext, voodooHDA.kext I tried appleHDA patcher and the alc888.txt I have literally tried 20 different combinations.... after 5 hours and no avail I figured one of you geniuses might be able to lend a hand.
