SL on Asus u50A

okay so i've owned a mac for 5 years (iBook g4) and had tons of fun with that, but it broke. Wasnt able to get another, but instead got this

its an Asus U50A, 4 GB of ram, windows 7, 500GB hardrive, brand new, everything the same as above.

What would i have to do to get SL of Leopard on here?

Got mine going, using it now

Mostly works with Leopard

Used empire efi and snow leopard, sound works, webcam, change wifi card for broadcom

no mic yet and no ethernet yet, still working at it

had to use hdaenable for sound.

I'm trying to get a working version of Snow Leopard on this specific laptop, too. Which distribution did you end up using? I wasn't able to boot with a couple, I could only find a 10.5.5 iDeneb that will load the installer and I think I could get that to work selecting the right hardware. My laptop has an Atheros LAN chipset, so I think that won't ultimately be useful. WiFi is Intel WiFi Link 1000 BGN, 8086:0083 sub-id 8086:1205. I have a GL40/GM45/GM47/GS45 Chipset graphics, and ICH9 for storage and south-bridge. Any tips at all on what Snow Leopard distribution to start with?
