Hi all,

After I installed Missing Sync for PalmOS, I noticed that I can't get iSync to work, I check the Application folder , iSync.app is still there, but it doesn't shows actual iSync's icon, instead it's like Application icon. How can I fix this ? I need iSync to sync my Nokia 6630. I'm using JaS 10.4.6.

Thanks

I resolved that copying the missing parts from my PowerBook's iSync, it appears that some of the patched updates broke it.

Since th iSync of my PowerBook shows as a PPC app, I only copied the English.lproj and one or two things that were missing inside. No it runs without probs.

Thanks for your info. Could you send me the file so I may try here...

However I tried to download Combo Update 10.4.6 for Intel from Apple site, install only iSync using Pacifist, but still no good. The same result, cannot use iSync. Anyone has a solution ?

Thanks

OK, I found the solutions, I wanna share it here for the people that have the same problem :

To reinstall iSync 2.2, you will need your JaS 10.4.6 install dvdand a copy of Pacifist.

Do this:

Launch Pacifist. Insert your JaS 10.4.6 and wait for it to mount. Then browse to System/Installation/Packages then open Essentials.pkg using Pacifist.

Click on the triangle in front of the Applications folder, and it will open to reveal a number of files, including the iSync.app file. Select the iSync.app file, right click, and press the install to default location. If prompted, choose upgrade.

You should have your iSync 2.2 functioning again
