Bmacwards Posted December 1, 2009 Share Posted December 1, 2009 Hoping someone can help me with this. SL on a Dell D820 + Intel GMA 950. At startup as the GUI starts to display the laptop panel goes black. It looks like its at the point where it switches resolution - grey screen first, then goes black. I have tried with boot params "Graphics Mode"="1920x1200x32" and "Graphics Mode"="1920x1200x32@60" (and @59) without success. It seems like it has switched to a resolution that my LCD does not recognise as sometimes I can see things when moving the mouse. The odd thing is, if I then plug in an external monitor, hit Fn+F8 (CRT/LCD) the external monitor then works, then unplug the external - the laptop panel usually then shows up fine at 1920x1200 - Intel driver working, Quartz etc. Anyone have any ideas?
