David Alex Posted November 30, 2009 Share Posted November 30, 2009 Hey there Hardware: P5w dh deluxe motherboard I had 10.5.1 running and decided it was time for an upgrade. I succesfully updated to 10.5.2. Thinking I was on a roll I started the 10.5.3 update. Midway the grey screen and 'must restart' box came up. Obviously I did this and upon reboot the OS failed to load, leaving me with a black or blue screen. After reading around the forums and trying several things I decided i'd have a go at re-installing Kalyway to see if this would fix the problem. I didnt do a clean install as theres tons of date on the computer I really want to keep. Now Im stuck with a looping login screen. Ive read a few forums that say it might be GFX based others say Ethernet/Network. Ive also tried quite a few things but nothing seems to be working... Do you have to install Kalyway clean in order for it to work?
