I recently built a PCI Express X1 Wireless card for my desktop using a Mac Book Pro Mini Card and a Mini Card to PCI Express Adapter. The install went fine and Mac OS X read the card instantly (as it should). I ran a test at speedtest.net and the speeds matched my typical results. But my pingtest was very different as you can see below. Any time I try to load a website it lags for a few and then it finally opens the page almost instantly. Any clue to the issue at hand? Perhaps it could be the antennas? They are smaller 2.4 GHz antennas I believe... I'm running an Acer wireless card with a Broadcom chip temporally and it works fine, but it lacks Wireless N.
