Matt K.
Hello again, everybody. I've been doing a bit of Hackintosh research around the internet, and seem to be getting some conflicting information. Some sources are saying that Kalyway is ONLY compatible with Intel architectures, but I've had other people tell me that it will work just fine on a modern AMD system. I've just begun downloading a Kalyway 10.5.1 ISO, and I would really rather not waste the next twelve hours doing that if it won't work anyway. I have an Acer Aspire 5532 notebook, which has the AMD M780G chipset and an Athlon Neo processor (clocked at 1.6GHz with a 512KB cache.) I have checked my instruction sets, and it's capable of basically everything: MMX, Extended 3DNow, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, AMD64, Cool'n'Quiet, NX Bit, AMD-V. Please let me know quickly whether this will work or not! I can provide more information if I need to.
