AzN_DJ
Hi. I am having issues with 10.6.2, and I originally didn't have this problem with 10.6.1, and it seems to only happen with 64-bit Snow Leopard. For some reason, as soon as I log into my system, it crashes, and looks like it is the WindowServer that crashes. Has anyone else had any similar issues, or would be able to shed light on this one? My system configuration: Intel Core2Quad Q6600 (2.4Ghz) 4096MB ram DDR2 ASUS P5KPL-CM motherboard nVidia GeForce 6800GS 256mb Originally, I tried an EFI string for graphics, but had the problem, so tried Natit instead, and still comes up with the same problem. Is that enough information? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/199742-system-crashes-in-64-bit-sl-1062/ Share on other sites

This will get you to the desktop, but when you try and minimize a window it will crash then: http://www.mediafire.com/?0kzjmy2cjec Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/199742-system-crashes-in-64-bit-sl-1062/#findComment-1344541 Share on other sites
AzN_DJ
So...... in other words, I need a new graphics card? Woohoo! Now I have an excuse for my parents to get me one. Bwahaha. What graphics cards would be fine under 10.6.2 64-bit? And How come its only broken under 10.6.2? Oh and scififan68 - what exactly is the file you posted??
