Hello cracks,

I've just successfully installed Snow Leopard using an external USB drive. I used the "EP45UD3P Snow Leopard install package" which automates all the command work in Terminal. Pretty easy, even for a dummy like me.

So, I was able to install Snow Leopard, however I do currently not have any Network functionality (WLAN or LAN). Furthermore, DVD does not work either.

How exactly (step by step instructions - since I am really a dummy) can I enable Snow Leopard to work properly with my Dell Latitude 820. Any ideas?

I also noticed that the EP45UD3P Snow Leopard install package uses Chameleon 2.0 RC 1 (not 2 or even 3). Is there already a package out there with the newest Chameleon RC 2 or 3. Would that change anything on the functionality of my Dell Latitude 820?

Thanks a lot in advanced for all your help.

Wow you were really lucky. It took some of us countless hours o f research & reading before we had a successful install.

How exactly.WellI would start at the Tutorials(Genius Bar) part of the forum.

Another tip, see my signature, that helps if you are asking a question, because everyone can see what mobo you have.

I could google the specs for a Dell Latitude 820...but

Having said that DVD probably not working because you have no video hardware acceleration.

Network, the answer is probably in the forum, but if you want answers people need to know the chipset of ethernet & wireless

& BTW hello cracks was not the best choice of greetings for the forum IMHO
