knipdlo Posted November 26, 2009 Share Posted November 26, 2009 I am trying to install osx 10.6 on a Panasonic ToughBook CF-T8 I have gotten to the point of beginning to boot and immediately it encounters a kernel panic.. Have you tried booting verbose, single user, safe mode I have not tried booting verbose, single user, safe mode-- Processor is Intel Core 2 Duo U9300 1.2GHz Chipset (I think) is ACPI x64 Video is Mobile Intel 45 Express Network is 1) Intel 82567LM and 2) Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN Audio I'm not sure, I bought the computer freshly wiped with Windows 7 and a lot of things have generic names.. Thanks Tim Ok try the verbose to see how far it gets I don't know on that machine if it will boot from a vanilla kernel as have not heard of anyone else doing an install. Just because it an intel processor does not mean it can.
