kaazoo
Hello, here i've got a Toshiba A100 notebook with an ATI 4379 SATA controller. The harddisk is attached to sata, the dvd drive is attached to an ATI PATA controller. OSX works in vmware under windows. I copied the data from vmware to an af-partition and tried the chain0 method. but i didn't work. i get this "chain booting error". i think the darwin bootloader is not able to read from the sata harddisk. would it be better to boot with grub? is it possible to use an ATI SATA controller at all? maybe when NVIDIA controllers also work through that VIA*.kext this controller could also work with that.
