Installare Snow Leopard su Asus P5w Dh Deluxe.

Questa mini guida descrive in breve quanto ho fatto per avere un sistema Fully-Working.

 

Hardware:

 

Mobo: Asus P5W DH Deluxe

Ram : 2 Giga DDR2 800 HyperX

Scheda Video : Sapphire 4850 512 Mega

Hard Disk : 2 da 250(uno per Win7 l'altro per SL)+500 (dati).

 

1) Scaricare Rebel Efi

2) Installare SL avviando sempre con Rebel Efi (ma non installare il software della Psystar)

3) Fare Upgrade sino alla versione 10.6.2 (scaricare i pacchetti dal sito Apple non upgrade on line)

4) Prelevare dalla Iso di Empire Efi (ver 1.08) la cartella Post Install e installare myHack.pkg

5) Installare con Kext Helper i file allegati per il riconoscimento degli Hard Disk (orange icons) , Audio e Wi-Fi

 

Attenzione testato solo in modalità 32 bit.

P.S

Ho utilizzato mio malgrato il software della Psystar poichè con Empire Efi ottenevo un errore tipo

"waiting for root device"

 

Spero che il post aiuti qualcuno che avendo poco tempo vuole comunque testare un PC con Snow Leopard senza troppi grattacapi.

1) Boot and install SL using Rebel Efi

2) Update to 10.6.2 (reboot each time with Rebel Efi)

3) After point 2 is complete use myHack you can find into the post install folder (Empire Efi ver 1.08).

4) Reboot (now you can boot from HD)

5) Install the kext for USB (usb 2.0) e IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector.kext (orange disk problem)

6) Intall VoodooHDA.kext (sound)

7) Install Realtek 8187L pkg (wireless)

8) Enjoy....)

 

tested only 32 bit
