olliedog1 Posted November 23, 2009 Share Posted November 23, 2009 Hi Guys i have an nc10 which is running osx using the msi wind install disc that is avaliable, my problem is i have replaced the atheros network card with a dell 1490 but although it is found under system profiler as en1 and as an airport card, it shows third party driver and i can not configure it for use. i have tried various IO80211.kext files and also using kismac but still no joy i even tried the applebcm43xx.kext but still it will not work can anybody shed some light on this as i have been going round and round for 2 weeks now trying different versions of installs with all the different kext files i can find but none will let me configure it.
