After reading several sources I have narrowed down to the following parts list.  I dont see any major issues and if a few people can take a look and let me know if this will make a good hackintosh I would appreciate it.

 

Mobo	Gigabyte P55M-UD2

CPU	Intel Core i5 750 Quad Core Processor Lynnfield

someone elesewhere suggested the RAM was not a good brand...is this true?  What other options should I consider?  Is DDR3-1600 a lot better than DDR3-1333 or even slower RAM?

 

 

 

 

Some OCZ Platinum 4GB DDR3 kit for $100 was recommend but I cant find any at that price in Canada.

 

 

 

 

argh.

Ditch the ATI (it works... I had a 2GB 4870, but replaced it with a slower/cheaper GTX 260) but you will have a hard time getting dual monitor support in case you want it.

 

400W is pretty low. I suspect any high-end graphics card you put in will kill it.

 

The memory + HD don't matter... although I've heard the Chamelon bootloaders don't like system drives larger than 1TB right now.
