steaky
After reading several sources I have narrowed down to the following parts list. I dont see any major issues and if a few people can take a look and let me know if this will make a good hackintosh I would appreciate it. steaky
someone elesewhere suggested the RAM was not a good brand...is this true? What other options should I consider? Is DDR3-1600 a lot better than DDR3-1333 or even slower RAM? Some OCZ Platinum 4GB DDR3 kit for $100 was recommend but I cant find any at that price in Canada. argh. voxelized
Ditch the ATI (it works... I had a 2GB 4870, but replaced it with a slower/cheaper GTX 260) but you will have a hard time getting dual monitor support in case you want it. 400W is pretty low. I suspect any high-end graphics card you put in will kill it. The memory + HD don't matter... although I've heard the Chamelon bootloaders don't like system drives larger than 1TB right now.
