SwifSolja
Hello, I created this thread for those who are either trying to install or have successfully installed Leopard/Tiger on Dell D series Laptops. I myself was successful on a D410 sub-notebook with iPC distro a while back, but i have been unable to install it on a D505 or D610. I have been doing these installs on just about every laptop I get (iHateWindows) and only some go through. My problem is that after the install, i boot in verbose (-v) and get the error "using 2621 buffer headers and 2621 clusters IO", and remains hanging. I've looked up this error on google and really did not get much info, I found that even actual mac owners (lol) had the same error. This must mean that it is a hardware problem. I've tried hooking it up to another mac externally, Browsed the contents, then i removed the AppleAPICPlatform.kext (i found this trick on google), Then i put the harddrive back in. It got a little further on the boot, but then got a kernel panic. If there is anybody who is a mac/hackintosh expert, HELP!
