bubbahotep Posted November 22, 2009 Share Posted November 22, 2009 Hi, I would like to get started with OSX86 and am looking for a x86 laptop that is fully supported (all components are running fine) and runs stable so my wife can use it everyday without much worrying about crashes, updating drivers, losing data. leopoard would be fine, doenst have to be snow leopard, but if snow leopard works Id be happy to go with that. She will be using it for surfing, writing, presentations and watching TV. not much gaming or cgi. I have searched the forums but couldnt find a database with laptop/notebook support list. I am looking for something along the line of an HP G60T or HP DV6T or similar: dual core P8700 ~2.53 ghz webcam / mic sound wifi 802.11N Is OSx86 stable enough for everyday non-geek usage on a non-apple laptop?
