Hi guys, to start I'm very newbie on OSx86 theme, and I'm trying to install it on my PC:

AMD Athlon 64 X2, 3045 MHz 6000+ / x86, x86-64, MMX, 3DNow!, SSE, SSE2, SSE3

MB ASRock ALiveNF5-eSATA2+ [Chipset: nVIDIA nForce 520 (MCP65S) - BIOS Version P1.90 - AGESA Version 3.1.4.0 -

VGA XFX ATI Radeon HD 5850 (Cypress) / DX11 / 1GB

MEM 2 X Kingston 2GB DDR2-800 (DUALcHANEL)

STORAGE: SAMSUNG HD501LJ (500 GB) WIN 7 - WDC WD10EAVS-00D7B0 (1024 GB) IT'S FOR OSx86 - ST3500418AS (500 GB) UBUNTU

And it wont run the "iDeneb v1.6 Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.8 for Intel/AMD ML"

1º I can boot the DVD properly.

2º It check the integrity of the DVD, and it's all right.

3º It starts copying the files, and when is just 10 min left,i get a "kernel" error message.

So if you some of guys have a patience of Job, and want to

help me, I'll be 4ever grateful =)

Solved:

I don't know if it's gonna help someone, but just in case, to fix it i did:

1º boot with DVD, i pressed f8 and taped maxmem=2048 (to solve the error on the very end of installation)

2º After the installation, i did the -v -x maxmem=2048 commands and for the first time it was working. (to fix the black screen, and no starting system)

3º Now i have "iDened lite 10.5.8" working properly (network, 1024x768 res, printer "hp 4200", processor and memory)

Important, you need to install the ATI HD driver and remember AMD core can't boot with Vanilla kernel.

well problem solved guys.

I toke a better look around the forum and now i know

that my:

processor

motherboard

vga card

optical drive etc etc...

well the whole thing is not supported by OSx846 "yet".

thx anyway

what do u mean u cant boot the dvd? explain whats wrong and post your specs (ie ram, mobo, etc)

for #3 , if u have more then 2gb ram it causes the crash at the end of the installation , just follow this step:

boot the disk and hit F8 , then type maxmem=2048

it should boot normal and able to install without crashing.

you was right, i did pressed f8 and taped maxmem=2048,

and the installation finely went until the end.

about pc specs, it's on top of my post, but just in case:

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2, 3045 MHz 6000+

x86, x86-64, MMX, 3DNow!, SSE, SSE2, SSE3

Motherboard: ASRock ALiveNF5-eSATA2+ AM2

Chipset: nVIDIA nForce 520 (MCP65S)

BIOS Type AMI

BIOS Version P1.90

AGESA Version 3.1.4.0

System BIOS Date 12/31/07

Video BIOS Date 09/23/09

VGA: XFX ATI Radeon HD 5850 (Cypress) / DX11 / 1GB

Memory: 2 X Kingston 2GB DDR2-800 (DUALcHANEL)

SAMSUNG HD501LJ (500 GB) WIN 7

WDC WD10EAVS-00D7B0 (1024 GB) IT'S FOR OSx86

ST3500418AS (500 GB) UBUNTU

And now, after the installation, i can finely see the little chameleon and the boot options, but i have another little problem:

1º when i select the partition with iDeneb it shows me the window with that little Apple.

2º but then it never starts.

If you have another other tip, it will be very welcome =)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhh it workssss

i made it, iuhuuuuuuuuuuu

well, I'll post here everything that did, but

later, right now i just want to enjoy a little bit more of my Mac-c =)
