jingato
Hi, first I'd like to state that I have very little knowledge of macs. I decided to start programming for the iPhone, therefore need to install it on my system. I followed this tutorial from these forums but I'm getting an error when it boots up to install it. I managed to get it to boot up via the USB thumb drive, but that's when the error happens here's my system specs: Asus P6T Deluxe Intel Core i7 920 Nvida GTX280 6GB DDR3 Ram Intel 80GB SSD Here's a screenshot of the error I get. Any help would be much appreciated. Just keep in mind that I'm new to Macs so I might not understand some of the terminology. AzN_DJ
Could you do us a favour and type in -v at the Chameleon prompt, then enter and then take a photo because I cant see past the big grey power button. Most likely you are missing a few kexts and/or do not have permissions set right. jingato
Sure thing. This is all Jibberish for me, but hopefully it will mean something to you. I just used the default kexts that came with the MacLoader_SL. I looked at some of the links out there for downloading other ones, but I really had know clue which to use if any. I found them a bit confusing. Also, I don't know if it matters, but I created the bootable USB drive on a virtual copy of OSX 10.5 that I have in VMware. Thanks for helping out Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/198822-help-a-n00b-get-snow-leopard-installed/#findComment-1338360 Share on other sites
