kerimeton Posted June 16, 2006 Share Posted June 16, 2006 alright here's the deal I got a WMP54G v.4 and I know that i need to isntall drivers for it to work the thing is |I have, and the wireless utility program says NO DEVICE FOUND what should i do ive got a gigabyte mobo ( GA-8I915ME-GL) everything runs perfect. I just want internet BTW, im pretty sure the card is installed properly too. Rammjet Posted June 16, 2006 Share Posted June 16, 2006 A quick Google gave 3 choices for your chipset: Prism, Ralink and Broadcom. Some people thought the chipset changed for different revs of the card. If it is Prism, you are out of luck. Ralink drivers are available from their website. If that fails, assume it is a Broadcom and for that follow the Broadcom link in my sig.
