Asus U2E - iAtkos 7 upgrade to 10.5.8 Video screwup

Hi,

 

I manage to get my Asus U2E installed with iAtkos 7 (10.5.7) with most running except for the Wireless Intel 4965AGN and sleep issue not settle. VGA is Intel X3100 the 965 family

 

I did an online upgrade to 10.5.8 and after a restart my video is screwup but can boot. I have to reinstall clean.

 

Any pointers how to solve this issue.

have no idee,but can i ask you a favore on how can i update mine ,installed with iAtkos 10.5.7 i want update to 10.5.8 and don't know how,can you help me?

Go online then Software update 10.5.8 should be there. It is about 287MB.

 

Hope this help but be prepare to reinstall as I had to because my video is screwup. I suspect it is due to the video divers and I only know how to save my 10.5.7 kext then copied it back after I upgarde to 10.5.8 it should be OK.

 

Hopefully someone here can help me on that.
