rick6865
Hiya, I am currently running Leopard on a dell vostro 200 system with the specs: intel core 2 duo 2GB memory ATI Radeon HD 2400 pro fully working with QE, CI 1080 output Anyways, im currently connected with VGA but I have DVI output and when I use the DVI to HDMI output with my 32Inch LCD tv the picture is slightly burly or the sharpness is too high cannot really explain how it looks but it hurts your eyes when reading text. But anyways, I am wondering what would the best graphics card is to buy that will give me the best performance and best picture? Lord_Jeremy
Hey! I'm running an nVidia GeForce 9400 GT with full QE/CI support. My card has a VGA, DVI, and HDMI output. While it's not the best card, it's certainly pretty powerful. I can run most games in Windows 7 at fairly high settings and it's way more than enough for the work I do in OS X. I'd imagine you could get a more powerful card like a 9800 GTX running but do you really need all that power? Whatever you do, stay away from the X2 and 2X and all other dual-card-in-one things. Those are more trouble than they're worth with OS X, so I hear. Lord_Jeremy
Ah yeah the 9400 GT works well but alas I have not had the opportunity to test the HDMI output. You mentioned you had a DVI to HDMI adaptor so I figured that would work for you. Sorry.
