I am still wandering in the wilderness trying to get my hack to work. Standard parts per lifehacker, runs Win 7 with no problem, but I can't figure out how to get it to install SL. I have gone through every permutation that I can with Stell's installers but since they won't work (for me) I've gone back to the original post and tried to do the terminal work. That isn't going so well either because I get as far as the fdisk command (sudo fdisk -f boot0 -u -y /dev/rdisk2) and receive a resource busy message. So I have questions:

1. Why am I getting a resource busy message? The password is correct. The files are on the desktop.

2. When using Stell's installers (I have all 3) I never see the boot image on the drive (I've used an 8GB Corsair USB and I've tried to do the install from a SATA drive prepared per the lifehacker instructions using Stell's installers). So does this mean I'm not getting the boot program on my drive?

3. Is there any way to screw up the copying of the SL disk such that it appears on the USB and SATA but something is wrong with it and that is the problem? (I have a MacBook and when I try to install SL on it from the USB or the SATA, it launches but I haven't allowed it to do the full install - long story).

Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Mark
