ilg
I'm trying to get Leopard running on my ThinkPad X41t tablet, starting from a retail DVD, but I'm completely stuck on the blue screen. Here's what I've done so far, working with the stock 40gb PATA drive pulled and externally attached to a working Mac: 1. repartitioned/reformatted the drive to GUID, 1 journaled HFS+ partition 2. run "OSInstall.mpkg" from a retail Leopard DVD, pointed at the drive 3. run the Chameleon 2.0 RC1 package installer on the drive 4. moved aside the vanilla mach_kernel and put the voodoo kernel into place (edited the boot plist to point to it and added the system kext to /Extras/Extensions) 5. added "-v cpus=1" to the boot plist kernel flags At this point, the machine will boot, but hangs at the "blue screen" point (if I have it ignore the verbose flag, it hangs when transitioning from the gray apple screen to the blank blue screen), regardless of whether or not an external monitor is connected. I have tried adding ElliottAppleIntelGMA950LegacyEnabler.kext and AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext to /Extras/Extensions with no success; I have also tried adding different modded GMA900/GMA950 kexts to /Extras/Extensions, also with no success. In neither instance did connecting an external monitor help. I have also tried all of these variations with and without the "-x" safe mode flag with no success. What else should I be trying? Thanks.
