ununpentium
Hi! I have the first hard disk (ATA100 - 200GB W.D.) so partitioned: -1st partition: 32 GB - NTFS - SYSTEM PARTITION (boot and Windows XP + apps.) - type: base (primary) -2nd partition: 16 GB - NTFS - dedicated -3rd partition: 130 GB - NTFS - empty -Remaining non allocated space: 8 GB. Second hard disk (ATA100 - 320GB) so partitioned: -1st partition: 10 GB - NTFS - dedicated -2nd partition: 288 GB - NTFS - dedicated My questions are these: 1) could I divide the 130 GB empty NTFS 3rd partition of the first hard disk, without loosing data on the 1st and 2nd partition (expecially on the 1st, where I have installed Windows XP Pro SP2 with all apps.)? 2) could I create TWO partitions in the non allocated space of 8 GB (for example one 2 GB FAT partition and one 6 GB NTFS partition), without loosing data on the 1st and 2nd partitions? 3) could I format the 1st partition of the SECOND hard disk, remove the 10 GB partition, re-partition the unallocated 10 GB space as an 8 GB NTFS partition and a 2 GB FAT partition, without loosing data on the 2nd 288 GB partition? Thank you! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/198273-re-partitioning-empty-partitions/ Share on other sites
