gitano
Hey, this one: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ind...roducts_id=3387 or this one: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ind...oducts_id=21885 thanks in advance This is for a G5 case mod, i presume? I'd go for the first one then, if u had in mind to keep the original 2 apple fan holes: forget that, u wont be able to fit the atx i/o and keep the original holes full sized. Better off with a full sized atx rear then, and cutting the stuff u need inside there (more fans etc.) If You're going for another case mod, then forget what i said . greetz, gitano Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/198202-motherboard-tray/#findComment-1335120 Share on other sites

gitano
yes this is for G5 mod and i would keep the original apple fan holes then i take the second one? Mhm, u could try, but i hardly doubt that the atx i/o panel (which is just BROAD compared to the original G5 i/o rear) will fit besides the original fan holes. Maybe they'll "just fit" and leaving a space of 1 or less millimeters (and it will look crappy), but i hardly doubt it. More likely that the fanholes will get partly covered by the tray, which will look even more crappy . I'd still say: get a tray with a broader rear like that lian-li in the first link and u have more possibilities to cut out the stuff in the shapes u want to have. And if it is Aluminium and you're doing clean cuts it will still look excellent. Besides, how many times will u have a look at the rear once the machine is up and running? greetz, gitano Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/198202-motherboard-tray/#findComment-1335191 Share on other sites
