Silhouette Posted June 15, 2006 Share Posted June 15, 2006 Every game I've tried thus far on my dual booting Mac under Vista has failed in some way or another. Most install fine and then fail to launch even under XP compatability mode. I was just wondering if anyone has had any success with games on Vista and what ones they are. I've only tried demos and free games and only gotten Anarchy Online and GRAW to work but both sucked (one because it was just generally lagged and wouldn't make my character and the other lagged like hell). Vista is a piece of EVERY application I have tested in vista works on my 20" iMac. List includes Photoshop CS2, Google Earth, Trillian Pro, Firefox, DC++, VLC, iTunes, Quicktime, CATALYST Control Panel, Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, FarCry. So far the games work fine, except for them not let me switch resolution to anything OTHER then 1680x1050 (native res) so unless i turn down some special effects, games run a little choppy. Probably has something to do with the ATI Vista drivers.
