ironmang Posted November 17, 2009 Share Posted November 17, 2009 Hi Guys, I'm using a single SDD for my install and have 2x1.5 TB drives I'd like to set up in raid 1 on the EP45-UD3P I've read about the host of problems using RAID for the boot disk, but wanted to know is it possible to use the onboard hardware controller for the DATA disks ? If not, what if i use the Rosewill RC-211 that others have used ? -- I know there is an issue with >4GB of RAM usage, but does that only apply when you are trying to boot from the RAID drives ?
