deesto
I have a widescreen Asus 24" monitor hooked up to my system, at 1920x1080 resolution. It's working okay as far as I can tell, except when I run a low-res application at full screen, such as a Big Fish Games game or demo (uses Flash Player, and I have the latest version installed), when I exit the full screen low-res app, my display is distorted to the point where all text becomes unreadable. The interesting part is that I take a screenshot of the display in this state, and it still looks all screwed up ... but if I reboot and come back in with a clean display, even the screen shot that looked horrible appears to be fine. Maybe this is an Xquartz problem? How can I tell? The following appears in windowserver.log: ...
