garbled screen after apple logo with new install on ideneb 1.5

this is my 5th time installing the ideneb distro and i am new to this osx86 and i installed on my external hdd so that i can boot off anywhere. I am currently using the lenovo w500. specs shown using cpuiz in html. First few times of install, i installed everything including the fixes in customize but then it hang at the apple logo with the spinner then i tried reinstalling it without the fixes and now, i can get pass the apple logo but it showed up a garbled display. Anyway, i do not understand another thing that is the bootloader different with and without the customization. Because now when i boot, i have the chameleon bootloader graphically whereas when i first installed, it was darwin bootloader. sorry. am new after all. Help appreciated.
