Successfully installed iDeneb 1.4 on a Dell Dimension 4700. Took a few tries but it's working now aside from a few bumps in the installation. The major one for me was the resolution issue - it only wanted to display at 1024x768.

I eventually got tired of reinstalling the same - correct - drivers for my videocard so I just tried "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32" and that problem was gone.. kind of.

I have to enter that every time at boot to get it to display like that. I'm wondering if there was something I could do to make it be automatic or should I just settle with that? In this res in system preferences it only displays this res as an option and it's the same way in 1024x768.

Hello.

You should probably edit the com.apple.Boot.plist which can be located in: Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration

Drag that file to the desktop, open it with a text editor.

Add the following to it.

<key>Graphics Mode</key>

<string>1280x800x32</key>

Then save it, drag back to the folder it came from, replace it, reboot. Sorry if you have a hard time understanding this.
