littlechikon
Alright I've been trying to get OS X in a dual boot for years and i have succeeded once but it was on my old computer with 10.4.X. Now i have a new computer and I am having a lot of trouble. Specs: Mobo: 750i FTW Network card: nForce lan Sound card: Realtek HD GPU: evga GTX 260 core 216 superclocked edition CPU: Intell Core2Quad Q9550 Chipset: NVIDIA nForce 750i Chipset http://www.evga.com/articles/401.asp Whenever I put in the disc i get the no smoking sign over the apple symbol while loading. I heard this is a hardware error. I then booted with "-v" and it said "Firewire guid ffffffffffffffff is invalid". I disabled IEEE1394 in my bios (idk if that is important or not). I then tried a boot-132 with mac osx retail and i got "EHCI - Ownership conflict...". I also tried iPC 10.5.6 and iAtkos v7. I kept getting the no smoking symbol on the apple sign. I tried to boot with "cpus=1" but nothing. Help? =/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/197666-trying-to-install-osx-in-dualboot-failureee/ Share on other sites
