bkohler81
After a few weeks of kernel panics and stalled installs, I finally got Leopard successfully installed on my DELL 1318. I need a little help fine tuning, as I may have made a mistake during the install. I followed instructions from http://macyourpc.com/2009/03/10/dell-inspi...tosh-ipc-guide/ and it helped alot. It worked so well, I followed it word for word. The mistake I made was installing the 1525 driver pack after the install was complete. Initially, when the install finished and I rebooted, I had to do the "close the lid" trick, which worked great. Also, everything was working except for sound and wifi. I installed the driver pack, and now, USB ports, sound, and wifi still don't work. There are so many guides on here, I'm not sure which one to follow. It looks like alot of the threads I pull up are from 2006-2007 and I'm afraid they are outdated. Can anyone help me get my USB inputs back and guide me towards a wifi fix? Also, is there a way to avoid the "close the lid" trick? Thank in advance!
