bkohler81
Pretty much the same stuff that I read everybody else has problems with... except no matter what boot flags I try, I can't seem to get this thing past the white screen with apple logo (honestly, I'm lucky if it gets that far). I've been reading forums and wikis for a week now trying to figure this thing out. I've given up now on Leopard (ipc, iatkos, etc.) and moving on to Snow Leopard. The wiki says to use snowosx v3.5 universal and it should boot right up. While it's downloading, I want to get a head start on setting the machine up to accept the install. Here's the specs: Dell Inspiron 13 Intel Core 2 Duo T5850 2.16GHz 4.00 GB RAM 667MHz Display Adapter: Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN Broadcom NetLink Fast Ethernet It currently has a 180+ GB partition with Windows 7 Ultimate RC and a 65GB partition of unallocated space on a 250GB internal HDD I used Gparted to format the partition any assistance would be appreciated... I am a NOOB! THANKS! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/197530-dell-inspiron-13-install-hangs-or-kernel-panic/ Share on other sites
