iampivot Posted September 5, 2005 Share Posted September 5, 2005 Am wondering, since the install DVD itself seems to boot a complete version of os x with ram disks for various paths, if it would be possible to intercept the boot script at some point to allow running finder from the dvd itself? Merlwiz79 Posted October 4, 2005 Share Posted October 4, 2005 I tried to make a boot dvd from a Hard drive .img that was 3.17 gb with Easy Boot when i finally got the iso and booted it in VMware Workstation. It had a hfs+ partition error. This was a DVD install with test3 patch with a usb hard drive. I used the dd command to copy the partition. This was my first bootable DVD I ever made.
